Heritage Insurance of Alabama

Heritage Insurance was founded on December of 2012.  We are an agency that sell policies for insurers, mainly selling homeowners insurance for Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s of London, but we also sell builder’s risk insurance for homeowners who are building new homes through US Assure – Zurich.

Where We Serve

Our office is located in Silverhill, AL.  We provide house insurance for Mobile and Baldwin County.  Some of the towns that we do the most business in include Daphne, Fairhope, and Spanish Fort (all near the Mobile Bay), Robertsdale, Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach (all near the Gulf of Mexico).

How We Are Different

There are a lot of big national insurance companies out there like Alfa, State Farm, Farmers, Geico, Progressive, etc.  How is Heritage Insurance, a local insurance agency, different than other insurance companies?

1) You can customize your policy

Want a little more or less coverage for personal property?  We’ll do it!  Don’t want Loss of Use?  No problem.  Don’t have other structures?  We won’t make you pay for it.  The lower the coverage, the lower the price, so there’s no use in insuring something that you don’t have.

2) You can insure “Wind Only”

Besides AIUA’s wind insurance, we are the only company in Baldwin County that can provide a policy that only insures wind.  If you have an AIUA policy with Alfa, State Farm, USAA, or any other company but would like another option, then we’re your guys.
